Discovered a new thing with MS word just now! If you want to delete a complete word from your document; instead of highlighting it and deleting, or deleting a letter a time, simply place the cursor at the beginning of the word and press Ctrl+Del and it will delete the whole word.
If you want to delete just an end part of the word, such as after typing Transmisslbe instead of Transmissible you realize that you have typoed badly, just place your cursor before the 'l' and then do Ctrl+Del and you will be left with Transmiss! In short, the word is deleted from where ever you put your cursor! Great discovery!! So late, yet great! :)
